I wanted to thank you for helping me with the GRE prep and let you know that your teaching tactics worked! I took the exam yesterday and got an 800 on the math, 570 on the verbal and who knows about the writing but hopefully it's not below a 4! The verbal is tricky with those silly words but I am happy with my score and ready to walk away from this ETS madness. Thanks again and all the best!

Meet a Taipei GRE Tutor: Adam C.
Adam grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he developed an interest in science at a young age. He obtained a very impressive score on the ACT, and combined with his high school accomplishments, this led to him being accepted at a variety of colleges across the United States and Canada. Adam majored in chemistry and obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Washington, a highly respected public research university. During his time there, he worked part-time as a math and science tutor. Knowing he wanted to obtain a graduate degree, Adam worked with a private tutor through Manhattan Review to prepare for the GRE. His hard work was rewarded when he scored in the 97th percentile. He ultimately chose to attend CalTech, consistently ranked among the best chemistry graduate programs in the world.
After graduating from CalTech, Adam accepted a position in a large biotech company with offices across the world. He was thrilled to relocate to Taipei and loved the work he did experimenting with alternatives to plastic-based products. After a while, though, he began to miss the interactions he'd had with students. When a rare position for an experienced tutor appeared at the local office of Manhattan Review, Adam applied and was quickly welcomed to the team. Adam is a born instructor, but he also works hard to stay current on the latest advances in student learning and teaching. When he isn't helping future graduate students master the GRE, Adam can be found offering free science workshops to local children, enjoying karaoke with friends, and training for his first half-marathon.
